By engaging the services of Gati Xpress Packers & Movers, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. Service Agreement
Gati Xpress Packers & Movers agrees to provide relocation services as outlined in the written quotation provided to the customer. Services commence upon receipt of written confirmation and advance payment as agreed.
2. Quotation & Pricing
- All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
- Quotes are based on information provided by the customer. Changes in volume, floor, or access may result in price revisions.
- A written confirmation must be obtained for any price changes.
- GST/taxes will be added as applicable.
3. Payment Terms
- An advance payment (as agreed) is required to confirm the booking.
- Balance payment is due before or at the time of delivery, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- We accept cash, bank transfer, UPI, and cheque payments.
4. Cancellation & Rescheduling
- Cancellations made 48+ hours before move date: Full refund of advance.
- Cancellations within 24–48 hours: 50% of advance may be retained.
- Same-day cancellations: Full advance may be forfeited.
- Rescheduling with 48+ hours notice: No charge. Last-minute rescheduling may incur a fee.
5. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and complete information about items to be moved.
- Ensure items are ready for collection on the agreed date.
- Disclose any fragile, high-value, or hazardous items.
- Ensure someone is present at both pickup and delivery locations.
- Items not covered by transit insurance must be declared in advance.
6. Liability & Insurance
- Our liability is limited to the declared value of insured items.
- For uninsured items, liability is limited to ₹500 per item or actual value, whichever is lower.
- Claims must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
- We are not liable for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, improper packing by customer, or force majeure events.
7. Prohibited Items
We do not transport: currency/jewellery, illegal substances, hazardous materials, flammables, LPG cylinders, perishables, live animals/plants, or items prohibited under Indian law.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi.
